RUMORED BUZZ ON BIBO CRYSTAL

Hygroscopic crystal components deteriorate when they're not often kept in sufficiently dry air (or a dry purge gasoline). This is applicable e.g. to KDP and BBO, and in a lesser extent to LBO. It might be valuable to keep this type of crystal at a rather elevated temperature, which makes it much easier to maintain it dry.Inertness to Moisture: BIBO
